Reviews
Wonderful studio. For me, they did a project of a two-story townhouse in Ozarow Mazowiecki. I was satisfied with both the project itself and Natalia’s approach. A real professional. Always online and willing to help with any questions. Can’t imagine what I would do without her.
I wanted something unusual. The main thing was to make a unique modern project and stay within the budget. With the help of Natalia, everything worked out. Thanks to the fact that I ordered a project with the designer’s supervision – it was released with my minimum participation. I am very pleased with the work of the entire Kupyra Studio team.
Now I live in an apartment with an interior that I only dreamed of! Natalia not only implemented all my wishes but made a really functional and comfortable space. Everything was done exactly as on the visualization, which I am unspeakably happy about. Strongly recommend!
FAQ
I'm still undecided. How do I explain to the designer what kind of interior I want?
The fact that initially you don’t have a clear understanding of what project you want is perfectly normal.
At the first meeting, our designers always ask leading questions, which will give an idea of your habits and taste preferences. We’ll also ask you to fill out a detailed questionnaire to make sure we haven’t missed anything. We will suggest solutions, based on your preferences and our years of experience.
In this phase, we will prepare a technical statement of work, which we will agree with you to give you a clear idea of what your ideal interior should be.
How to implement what is drawn in the design project?
Designs made in our studio are 100% realizable.
When creating a design project we take into account your budget, so we use only market-proven and easily available for purchase materials.
Our experience allows us to take into account all the nuances that may interfere with the chosen solutions even before the start of repair work. We work only with nced construction teams, which will save you from unnecessary questions in the repair process.
We are also always at the disposal of сontractors in the process of author’s supervision. Therefore, in our projects the result is the same as in the 3D visualization. How long does it take to develop an interior design project?
Perhaps one of the most frequent questions among those who plan to contact an interior designer.
Below we will try to describe in detail how much time each stage of the project takes in our studio, and what affects the increase in terms of delivery.
Suppose you chose Kupyra Studio to develop your interior design project, we made measurements and recorded your wishes about the interior. Signed a contract and proceeded to project creation:
1. Functional design concepts.
At this stage, we work through several options for layout, taking into account the habits and needs of the owners of the house, as well as the configuration and characteristics of the space. As a result, will be offered 2-3 options with the final functional design plan.Phase 1 will take 1-2 weeks.
⠀
2. Visualization of all the rooms.
The most time-consuming process. At this stage, you already have a clear idea of the future interior.
We work through all the details of the future interior. All that you will see on the 3D visualization, you can then find and purchase yourself ! Here we need to keep in mind that the 3D visualization of all rooms will take quite a long time!
.
Stage 2: 3-4 weeks.
Please note that edits to the visualization are not included in this time frame.3. Working draft (all drawings).
A set of drawings is required so that the builders can realize the interior exactly as on the visualization.
Stage 3: 3-4 weeks4. List of finishing materials and furniture.
Includes a list of materials and articles of furniture that you can buy.Stage 4: 1-2 weeks.
As a result, we get an approximate timeline of 2-2.5 months for the development of the interior design project.
Why approximate?
These terms include the time for coordination of each stage – 3 days.
If for any reason coordination will last longer (the client can’t call or meet at the scheduled date, or just can’t decide) – the terms will be increased by this time. What are the services offered by an interior designer?
The fact that you know what kind of interior you want is really great!
However, it is not enough for builders to explain in words or to show some images. If you do so, it can lead to all sorts of alterations, because the location of lighting and electrical installation equipment, engineering and other features are not taken into account.
As a consequence – the end result will not at all what you expected, and the timing and budgets have long gone beyond what was planned. Design project can ensure that all parties understand each other, and allows you to come to the desired result within the budget and projected timelines.
What is Authors's supervision and why is it needed?
Author’s supervision – is a regular visit to a construction or repair facility to monitor the results of work.
More than 70% of our client’s order designer’s supervision of the design project. Others take control of the repair work in their hands and think – if the builders have the album of working documentation, there is no point in controlling them.
You can just hand over the drawings to the construction team and wait to see what happens. But the savings (quite small, by the way) often leads to the fact that it turns out not as it should. Builders, after receiving the working documentation, sometimes decide to do everything differently: the laying of the tiles at their own discretion, then offer to abandon some design decisions. In our practice, there are many cases where the presence of the author’s supervision by the designer could save the client’s nerves and money.
You do not have to deal with issues that arise on your own. Construction is a rather complicated process and mistakes of builders can lead to the need to correct the design project. The author’s supervision will allow you to coordinate the builders on the spot and meet the deadlines, budget and save you from having to deal with difficult situations.
If you decide to conduct the project yourself and think that the designer’s supervision is not necessary, you should be prepared to have to simultaneously control two processes: buying furnishing and other materials and construction work. All this takes a lot of time and effort. Managers of companies-suppliers of furniture, equipment, finishing materials, the repair team, and other contractors will ask you questions:
*What to do if the right paint was not available, and whether it can be replaced by a similar, but different brand?
*What to do if there are gaps between the furniture and the built-in niche?
*How to correct the project if, during the repair, the ceiling was lower and the walls were narrower than planned?
You’ll have more and more such questions as the construction work progresses. You will be constantly rushing, asking for clarification of drawings and specifications, despite the fact that you are not a builder and not a designer. The author’s supervision allows you to redirect all these questions to the designer, freeing up your time.
The designer during the designer’s supervision will ensure that the builders have purchased the necessary materials and furniture, can quickly adjust the drawings and answer questions from contractors. The designer’s supervision is needed so that you can quietly mind your business and not worry about the result.
As our many years of experience shows the value of the designer’s supervision of the design project is much lower than the possible costs of redesign, not to mention the saved nerves.
The number of visits during the process is negotiated with the client individually, on average this is one visit to the site per week.
The cost of the author’s supervision 2500 zl per month.
